About Us
Payne-Wilks joined the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Professionals Association (SOXCPA) to further refresh and hone her investigation and research skills.
By joining these associations Kathleen obtained many new ideas on how to further assist her clients with their operational and financial objectives. Payne-Wilks joined the associations that advocate for a positive legislative and regulatory environment, enhances business and professional skills, and promotes the ethical conduct of its members.
Our History
Kathleen envisioned Payne-Wilks Management in 2003 and has been in the consulting services industry since 1993 when she first directed her efforts towards the music industry. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Fisk University with honors in psychology and was inducted into Psi-Chi National Honor Society. Payne-Wilks also completed post-baccalaureate courses in Business Management with an additional concentration in Finance and Auditing.
Payne-Wilks' passion for gap analysis and her desire to help her clients achieve their operational and financial goals became apparent early on in her career as she continually broke records for each project she undertook.
Future Plans
Payne-Wilks Management is currently reviewing educational solutions and providing consulting services for a local charter school. PWM is submitting proposals to banking and finance industry executives to provide solutions for improving 2nd quarter job growth margins in DC. The consultants continue to advocate for displaced DC residents and provide contacts outside of normal venues for employment. Kathleen Payne-Wilks continues to prepare for the CFE credential.
